Hi, my name is Yvette. Making the first contact to talk with someone can often be a daunting and overwhelming experience. I can assure you that once you take that step you will feel a sense of relief, vulnerability, but empowered too.

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.
