Hi, I’m Helen.
I’m a therapist based in Porirua, and I work primarily with a modality called Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). I love this work and I love the results I see in my clients every day.
RTT allows us to work at the subconscious level to address a wide range of issues: anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship difficulties, addictions such as smoking, drinking, or sugar, as well as patterns around confidence, imposter syndrome, and self-sabotage. It can support better sleep, reduce panic attacks, and help calm a mind that feels constantly “on”.
RTT is particularly effective for anxiety-based issues; breaking out of cycles of looping thoughts, panic, social anxiety, or that feeling of your mind taking over and running the show.
I truly love helping people step out of past trauma. I adore my teenagers, and I especially enjoy working with neurodiverse clients who sometimes need a little extra care, structure, or reassurance along the way. It’s also worth mentioning that at any given time, around 50% of my clients have been referred by a family member or someone who cares about them, which speaks to the trust involved in this work.
For some clients - and particularly those experiencing chronic overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, trauma, or suspected neurodivergence – clarity itself can be deeply regulating.
RTT, combined with the right therapeutic modalities, coaching skills, and the frameworks I’ve developed over more than 20 years in business and clinical practice, creates an experience that is both deeply personal and transformative.
The real power of working with me is in finding freedom from the pain of the past, and creating harmony between new, supportive subconscious beliefs and consciously planned ways of living, being, and achieving.

I’m trained in many modalities, but I believe the true skill of being a great therapist lies in finding the right blend of tools for each individual client.
Alongside therapy, I now offer structured psychological screening and outcome tracking, using the same professional assessment platform used by psychologists and psychiatrists across New Zealand and Australia. I’ve seen so many people waiting months for psychiatric appointments, and that waiting alone can add significantly to stress and overwhelm.
These tools are not diagnostic. They don’t provide labels or replace a formal psychiatric assessment.
What they can offer is validated insight into patterns of distress, attention, emotional regulation, and nervous system load, a way to better understand what may be contributing to how you’re feeling
and a clearer sense of direction, especially if you’re waiting for specialist support.
For many clients, this clarity alone reduces anxiety, self-blame, and the urge to catastrophise.
All screening is clinician-selected, trauma-informed, and carefully interpreted by me, alongside a practical action plan to help you move forward.

I work online with clients all over the world; Europe, Asia, Australia, USA and Canada. Technology is amazing and the therapy it's just as effective as sitting with me in my office.

Anxiety based issues are definitely the most common issue at the moment. There is honestly nothing better than releasing someone from the grips of anxiety and seeing them start to enjoy life fully again.

Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse is hard, and it can you rock you to the very core. Rebuilding the relationship with yourself, trust in yourself is the start of the journey to what eventually becomes Post Traumatic Growth.
Imposter Syndrome/Self Sabotage and Lack of Self Belief, they are like the three amigos and tend to hang around together. I love releasing people from living like this and watching the live the life they actually deserve.
