Welcome — I’m Twané
I offer an integrative, body-inclusive approach to psychotherapy that meets you exactly where you are. Our work together is client-centred and collaborative, so you remain in charge of the pace and direction of every session.
Drawing on my training in mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy (the Hakomi model), the Conversational Model (relational and psychodynamic), and EMDR (for processing and healing from trauma), I help you connect insight with embodied experience. This blend allows both mind and body to participate in healing—through gentle mindfulness practices, breathwork, and experiential, present-moment awareness and experience.
My style is soft, respectful, and non-intrusive. Whether you wish to resolve past trauma, ease anxiety, deepen self-understanding, or enhance relationships, our sessions become a safe and compassionate space where whatever needs a voice can emerge.
I also support workplaces in recognising patterns that hinder healthy relationships and in cultivating resilience for managing stress and change.
Together we create a therapeutic relationship where trust, curiosity, and connection guide the way—helping you move toward greater freedom, clarity, and well-being.
I'm based in the Whanganui-Rangitikei Region and support clients nation-wide via telehealth or in person in Whanganui.
