Introduction

In my counselling work, I prioritise you as the expert in your own life and learn about your current position in what you’re experiencing.

I offer a kind, non-judgemental space for your to feel comfortable as we build a working relationship so you feel safe and comfortable confiding in me. In time, we can work together to build pathways toward a life that is empowering to you, your family, and your community.

I am a registered social worker, practicing narrative therapy. I use methods such as externalising problems, re-authoring your stories and second story development.
Where appropriate, I value working alongside their families and communities as well to bridge our individual work out into other areas of your life.

Community work is an important part of my mahi, as is paying respect to tangata whenua. I adhere to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and will gladly work in partnership with Māori, Pasifika, and all other cultural groups in Aotearoa.

If these ways of working sound like they fit for you, please do reach out. I look forward to getting to know you and offering my service to help move toward a life that is healthy and meaningful to you.

If you want to know more or make an appointment, feel free to contact me.

Online therapy

If you'd like to meet online we can do so using microsoft Teams. I work in the privacy of a private office and can ensure confidentiality during online sessions as with all other forms of the counselling I provide.
