Are you a counsellor, psychotherapist, life coach or psychologist in New Zealand?

Kia Ora, hello and welcome.
I aim to provide a warm, authentic, person- centred, non- judgemental, confidential, welcoming space where you can freely share about whatever is happening for you in your life.
I welcome and value safe, trauma informed discussion around your physical, mental, emotional and/or relationship issues and would be honoured to collaborate with you, to support your journey in healing the past or planning your future.
If you feel intense responses to certain situations, but you’re not sure why, or you're struggling with communication, anger or unmet needs, then I can help you to work through these and other issues.
I can help you gain personal awareness and discover the emotional and practical steps you can take towards living a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life.
If you use find drugs and alcohol are an unhelpful coping mechanism or are thinking of quitting- I can help with this.
Experienced in helping clients tackle low self- esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, anger- management, stress, grief, immigration, divorce and co-parenting issues, I have a particular interest and experience in helping people who have suffered personal or inter-generational trauma, family violence and addiction.
Personally, I have a variety of lived experiences that I can draw upon (if appropriate) including experience working in education, management and alongside domestic violence and addiction services.
I offer experience, insight and guidance to support the rediscovery of your authentic self and move on from old negative beliefs and behaviours.
My therapy style is client-led, caring, practical, person-centred and solution focused.
I use a variety of modalities such as CBT, Gestalt, Art Therapy, Polyvagal Theory and more as I see relevant to your own issue.
During our first session, we will focus on clarifying what brings you to counselling and develop a plan for the way ahead.
However, if you don’t feel we align, I can help you find a different therapist.
I welcome all genders, sexualities and cultural backgrounds.
I adhere to NZAC Code of ethics.
