Therapeutic Social Worker/​Supervisor

My name is Michele, I am a Therapeutic Social Work Practitioner and Supervisor.

I offer therapy/counselling to individual or family/whanau members in a non-judgemental, strength based manner to facilitate personal growth that is strength based and solution focused. I have a strong sense of empathy and genuinely care about people.

You will find a safe, confidential space to be supported to work through and discuss issues you are finding challenging, for positive outcomes in your life and health.

I have been practicing for over 26 years, in that time I have worked in a number of social services agencies, care and protection, NGO’s, health, sexual abuse and trauma.

During this time, my roles have required professional services for a wide range of issues; including family harm, sexual abuse, I have facilitated stopping violence groups for adults and children, Women’s groups, parenting/step parenting programs, trauma, depression, Loss and Grief, general social work services and one on one therapy to encourage change and growth.
