Hello. I am a counsellor and have worked in the Manawatu region since 2001. Over that time I have worked with a wide range of age groups, and with people from diverse backgrounds. I work with adults of all ages, couples, and children from age 12 years (and support parents and caregivers to support younger children).

My name is Nicola, and I am an eating disorder recovery coach. An eating disorder not only affects the person suffering from it but the whole family too. For this reason, I also focus on helping the family through this journey, advising on how to best support the client at home and in day-to-day life.

I see therapy as a journey of discovery and healing. Whether it’s working through trauma, grief, or building understanding around neurodiversity or family dynamics, I provide a calm, compassionate space where people can unpack what’s been weighing on them. My role is to walk alongside my clients helping them build insight, develop emotional tools, and rediscover hope.
