I am a clinical psychologist with 29 years of experience, originally from South Africa and practicing as a clinical psychologist in New Zealand for the past six years. My interests include: * Problems with Mood -- Major Depression, Dysthymia, Bipolar Disorder, etc. * Problems with Anxiety -- Panic Disorder, GAD, OCD, PTSD, etc. * Bereavement * Stress * Relationship Challenges * Intimacy issues, especially women's challenges (e.g., menopause, infertility, etc)

I am a holistic counsellor/therapist with over 24 years experience. I take time to find out what is really going on for you and support you to find your way forward. We all deserve to live happier lives, free of pain and trauma.

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.
