As a parent, teacher and student of Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, I bring a warm, attachment-centred approach to healing. With decades of experience in yoga therapy, contemplative movement, and mindfulness, I support people struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction through body-based, experiential therapy. Drawing from Internal Family Systems and trauma-informed practices, I create a safe space where you can reconnect with your body's innate wisdom and return home to your authentic self.

Hi, I’m Mel. I’m a somatic therapist trained in Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and traditional psychotherapy. I’m drawn to experiential approaches that trust a person’s inner wisdom and natural capacity for healing. I aim to work collaboratively, with warmth, humour, and integrity. Sessions blend conversation with gentle, present-moment exploration to help you understand your experience more fully and support meaningful, embodied change.
