My passion is to support people on their healing journey and to ultimately feel empowered to feel at home in their bodies. In my practice, I incorporate a variety of modalities which activate the brain and support the nervous system to create a readiness to grow and change.

I am a registered counsellor and supervisor, with over 20 years experience. I currently provide these services via online platforms, or in the wider Motueka area by arrangement.

From here we can begin to gently challenge unhelpful beliefs and focus on self-empowerment, self-compassion, self-worth, and self love, leading to a more fulfilling and happy life.

My passion is supporting people to achieve, learn, and grow, by using mentoring, education, modelling, guidance, and advocacy. In working with clients both individually and in groups, my aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment which fosters the development of emotional resilience, inner authority, and autonomy, and supports individual learning styles and preferences in addition to knowledge and skills. The name of my counselling business, Finding Balance, reflects my values and my approach to life.

My name is Mark, counsellor in Nelson. Ik work both with individuals and couples. I have a strong interest in trauma work and all the associated issues that surround this. For couples I offer Imago relationship therapy, which is a form of couples counseling and coaching.

I provide professional counselling for adults, adolescents, parents and young children. There are many reasons why people seek counselling. I offer a safe and confidential space for you to talk freely about what it is that's troubling you or you are having difficulty with.
