I am a registered psychotherapist and have a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology, and I am certified in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I work with adults experiencing a range of personal issues. If you are looking for a deeper level of understanding as to how you got to be as you are and how you might move forward, I can help.

Kia ora, I’m Mari. I offer a gentle, trauma-informed, body-centered approach to experiential therapy rooted in Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy, and further supported by Internal Family Systems (IFS). This way of working can be especially supportive for those navigating trauma, grief, anger, confusion, and fear, feeling stuck in recurring patterns, longing to feel more at home in themselves, or seeking greater connection, presence, and ease in their lives.

Drawing on Counselling, Psychology and NLP, I help with anxiety, burnout, grief, trauma and low mood. My approach is warm, respectful and non-judgmental, welcoming cultural, spiritual, gender, sexual and neurodiverse identities.
